Do you have to pay for Caller ID? [Archive]

I recently subscribed to a VIP package and was surprised that I got no caller ID on my phone. When I rang up they said it was an extra at 1.75 / month!

Is this correct? If so I can't believe they are charging for this, especially on the 'top' package.

i believe this is only available in parts of the N/E anyway :(

When I joined NTL, caller ID was FREE and calls were cheaper than BT! Those days are gone,alas!

I Have caller Id and I dont pay for it!!!;) BUT THEN AGAIN IT DOES NOT WORK :mad: Hence the no charge
