best mtu byte size?

best mtu byte size for a 20meg line - currently it is set to 1500 but htis was for 8meg or over so im guessing i can up it if anyone knows how to work the best byte size out i would appreciate it.

thx - just read it - 1500 is max. so my settings are correct.
