Switch to VIP = new 12month contract?

In February I switched to the VIP package (previously I had the top Telewest package... I forget what it was called, about £120 a month).

Prior to the switch I had 'done' my 12 months with Telewest/VM i.e. I was out of contract.

Did signing up for the VIP package put me back on to another 12 month contract? I'm not, at the moment anyway, looking to leave, but I'd just like to be aware of what I have (or don't have).

I would imagine that it did, or (at the very least) be very surprised if it didn't.

Don't take that as gospel though, could be worth giving VM a call and asking what date your current contract started - that should tell you whether or not they put you on a new contract.....maybe.....
