Whilst I understand your annoyance and anger, couldn't you have used one of the many, many, many, many other threads that are discussing/venting their spleen on the same subject?

Sounds like traffic shaping to me.....could it be traffic shaping? Is there a possibility that your problems are being caused by traffic shaping? Would that make this a(nother) traffic shaping thread?

Please say that it is, because there aren't nearly enough of them here.....

You might remember this subject from such other threads as:

This from jbrennand

Just called the Broadband status line - 0800 561 0061.

Recorded message says....

Customers on the XL 20MB/s service may be experiencing slow downloads. This does NOT affect scientific atlanta and motorola modems. Engineers are aware of the problems and are working on it !

If it's Shaping, then please use the existing Traffic Shaping thread -

"Traffic Shaping affecting all Tiers" (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/33613264-traffic-shaping-affecting-all-tiers.html)

If it's not Shaping, then please use this thread (or another regarding poor speeds on the 20Mbps service) -

"Download speed problems - we are working on it!" (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/33617086-download-speed-problems-we-are-working.html)

Another potentially relevant thread (regarding the possibility of some people being shaped even without triggering it) - "Is ANYONE not throttled 4-12?" (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/33617068-is-anyone-not-throttled-4-12-a.html)
