Hi
I am new here but I am trying to track down the best pizza places out there. While I am traveling around I intend to try out as many as I can. Let me know your favorite places and the best choice on the menu. They can be takeaway or restaurant or as I have tried, several bars in Hampstead, London with great pizza on the menu.

Boro Pizza, Linthorpe road, Middlesborough. Since it's in the area heaving with students it is half price most nights. 12" Chicken Americano (Chicken, Sweetcorn and Pineapple) with lots of garlic mayo is my choice.

Yes they are top notch and if you don't fancy pizza I can highly recommend the pollo salad.

A notable mention must also be given for ASK outlets

Pizza express is lovely, but a bit pricey in my opinion. Its a nice place though.

If its half price most nights then maybe its better to say its double price some nights :p:

cant really say which is best theres alorra good pizza out there, but i can suggest you never go to pizza hut, worst pizza ever [gave me a sever bout of i.b.s] due no doubt to the ammont of preservatives in it, and it was generally dreadfull.

La Piaza, York. That place had amazing pizza!

Also, abroad, i'd try Peppes Pizza, in Oslo, Norway.

I can't recomend any pizza places here there aLL cr*p.
I am afraid that to get a good pizza you need to go to Chicago. My wife (who is from Chicago) is so disgusted with what is called pizza here that she now makes them for us. For instant, a deep pan pizza should be at least 3 inches thick and full of cheese and goodies not the wimpy things sold here.

Did Heston Blumenthal ever 'do' pizza?

I'm a thin & crispy kind of guy, myself, but it must be real bread, not a biscuit ;)

I love pizza but I dont eat pizza.
I suffer from a wheat intolerance so eating great tasting pizza's normally end up with me being bloated, feeling sick and on the bog with the trotski's.

A good deep dish pizza maybe. After all thats where it was invented.

I much prefer the original "flat" Italian style of pizza

I've bought way to much pizza in my time, but, it's given me the chance to taste different pizzas from different sources

From tescos, I recommend....

Good Fellas Delicia Pizzeria Thin Pepperoni 275g

(I love pepperoni pizzas, heh)

From take aways, I've had mixed results
I don't like Pizza hut's take away pizzas, don't seem to have the same..."oomph" as other take aways
My preferred choice is Dominos double pepperoni pizza, with extra toppings of bbq sauce, chicken and crispy bacon

(Ugh, to many calories, but soooo nice.)

For anyone living in or around Cambridge, Try the pizzas from `The Grillhouse` in Mill road. They deliver as well and their Kebabs are the best anywhere.!!!!!:tu::)

Anyone remember the "Frankie Dettori" Pizzas you used to be able to get from Tesco? they were actually pretty decent but mysteriously disappeared from the shelves about 5 years ago.

Pizza on the Green in Ealing Broadway is lovely. So is any Pizza Express. And also the Pizza place opposite the Slug and Lettuce in Winchester is divine.
