im trying to check im getting 10meg please could someone talk me through this page i get the page up and and click on the signal tab i then have two boxes with downstream and upstream under downsteam i have this
Frequency-331000000 Hz
Signal To Noise Ratio-39.5 dB
Power Level-0.0 dBmV
upstream
Channel ID-1
Frequency-18800000 Hz
Power-57.5 dBmV
could someone tell me if this is 10meg or even if im on the right page

It is in cable modem operation configuration and will look like this for 10meg
Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 10240000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 512000
Maximum Upstream Channel Burst : 1600

im sorry but on the page i have for my modem i cant seem to find these values,its a motorola

i cant remember where it is on the motorolla have a look through all the options i think it is in there some where :)

im sorry to bang on about this ive had a look and the only values i can see are the ones ive posted any other ideas,thanks:tu:also is it ok to click the restart cable modem button

TLV-11 - unrecognized OID
Not all modems display it sheera67,
if you really need to know call TSC they'll check your modem TFTP file.
If you are using the 4200 modem same as me, it doesn't give you this info. Just do a broadband speed test to check the connection speed.
Either use this free program http://www.broadbandspeedtest.net/
Or just go to http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/blueyondergames/utils/ Then right click on 3DMark03.exe and "Save Target as" to see how fast the file downloads. Then either cancel the download or delete the file when finished ;)

Looking at your levels the upstream is a bit high might need a tech to look at them he might change the modem :)
