Hi there,
just a quick question for the techies.
I'm trying to connect with a 250 modem and the IP address I'm getting is 86.6.*.* but I still can't view any webpages. Any ideas?

OK, I'd remove your IP from your post if I were you as it could be abused. First test would be to open up your command prompt Start->Run "cmd" OK on windows XP and type in
tracert www.bbc.co.uk at the prompt and see what you get returned.

If ur getting a good traceroute to www.bbc.co.uk try changing ur proxy and if that fails try checking ur dns.
