Virgin have actually done something

Hi all,

I'm on UBR10 in Edinburgh. This was one of the UBRs that got cards installed overnight.

Well, I used to get speeds of around 20KB per second on peak times for a 2meg service. It has been like this for about 9 months now.

Now everything is back to normal, nice smooth 2mb cable with no spikes and no lag.

Took them long enough to do it but when they do get to doing something about contention they do it properly.


Now for the rest of the network...... LOL

Yeah, I'm on UBR10 too - its been great since yesterday. On a solid 9mb now (was less than 1 at the evenings), and I believe 20mb is due for rollout in July. At long last!

Glasgow has been bad for a good few months till last week, its been alot better.......before it did it was a joke at times!

Glad the speed is better.....and thank you who ever is working on it!
