I ordered VM's broadband on Wednesday of last week, got an order number of (ad62372711), but that's it

Haven't had any email or letter through the post

Anyone know how long it takes on average to get an email?

Ah, apparently the order never went through because my brother, who moved out a few days before, hasn't bothered to cancel his broadband here

Abit miffed the automated system didn't tell me that after a week
You'd think they'd have called me to let me know, or emailed me even.

So now i'm waiting till tomorrow to reorder.

Ok he cancelled the broadband
I called up, spoke to a nice lady at Sales, she took my details for a new order and someone is due out on Friday
So far...so good.

Thanks :)

Well, so far it's been interesting

The guy arrived as promised, but said he couldn't run any cable through our loft space, as they weren't allowed
But, said, if we wanted to do it, we could and he'd come back when it's done to wire it up
So we did that, no problem
Said he'd return in the afternoon

Also gave us the modem, leads etc and the cd setup kit

Only thing we don't have, is the welcome back with the pin number etc? Does that usually arrive later on?

Great timing, heh, the pack arrived about 10 minutes ago (Late postman)
Only problem is, they spelt my surname wrong, doh!

Ah thought it'd be too good to be true
They've put me on the wrong package and spelt my name wrong
Now our phone's been cut off (bulldog contract ended today), can anyone assist via the forums?
When I ordered I specifically stated the 10mb/20mb package, but got put on the Medium one instead

Was on the phone last night from my mum's place
Explained the situation, apparently the name has been corrected and the speed/price to
Went to check today, the speed is now set to 10mb, but im paying the wrong price (£37 a month, as opposed to the advertised £29 a month)

Virgin billing can be quite eccentric. I don't know if this is relevant to you but we are often billed for the full price in your case £37.00, then a credit (in your case £8.00) is shown for the amount that will bring your bill to the correct amount.

If this is the case it may save having to speak to someone if you phone CS and choose the current balance option.

Unfortunately, here on Planet Earth "nearly" doesn't cut it.

Seem to be getting good speeds though
I assume the upload for 10mb, is 512k then?

One thing I don't understand, is why it's asking me to pay £4.99 a month for the plus service, when it should be free
