Hi all,
After my earlier post with regards to the lack of updates and info on the status line, I have received a formal reply from Virgin Media giving me the reasons why the status is different on the different numbers etc, read on:
"The Status line phone number is used to advise customers of National
problems, as is the Blueyonder status page. However when you call the
0845 number these are checked for geographic location and you will get
an announcement of any issues in your region. The Status line is
updated, however as mentioned earlier this is only for national problems
and is different from the announcements that are on the 0845 number. I
hope this clears up your query."
In my opinion the 0800 freephone status line should be checked for geographic location as well....
