interesting thing..(ng16)

just got my replacement modem (to replace SB4100) and have had problems registering the new modem - support goes away and comes back saying they can't de-register my old modem as its saying 'upgrade pending'..

any way, she basically says the fault is because its trying to upgrade my modem to 20mb, but can't.

so - in 4 hours she reckons i'll be registered and on 20meg!!

Well, this happened to me when i upgraded to VIP - they replaced my SurfBoard with a newer Virgin Modem, and set me up for the new account (20Meg) but I'm only getting 10Meg max at the moment (well between 10 and 11) - though it is now a constant and stable speed (after all the speed issues in NG16 over the previous weeks) so I'm really happy with that.

I would be interested to hear if you get 20Meg in NG16 anytime soon :)

Notts and surounding aeras there still is no date for the 20 meg upgrade .There was probabley a fault on the acct :)We tried to put a test modem on 20 meg and the computer said NO
