Anybody got any good sugestions for keeping cats out of our garden...they like to s*** on the new garden we have created...

Any decent products that work - apart from a shotgun and couple of bricks...

...both of which I could get access too.... :dozey:

Try spraying some kind of citrus oil, cats hate it. Also they do like freshly dug soil as it is easy to dig in.

Cool - so if you see me burying a few lemons tonight, please don't call for the men in white jackets to take me away!

Yeah - I know...I was joking sir!!

I'll slice them up with a bit of Gin next to them....

Actually - what if I poured some Jiff Lemon around the place?

every square inch of my garden is concrete, i have a few plastic planters ,and my neighbours cat craps in them, but its not all bad cos my cat craps in someone elses garden ,so swings and roundabouts, so my advice get a cat and get your own back;)

Not as evil as the people who hurt them.

One of those big water pistol works if you put a bit of smelly(old aftershave/perfume) in with the water as they do not like to smell nice and tend not to come back.
Our cat craps in the same place, so as long as it's cleaned up regular (wife!)
he tends to discourage other cats,( he beats the s**t out of them) from coming back as well

Next doors cats are crapping all over my raised beds and digging out plants in the process. Anti cat powder didn't work (and the manufacturer says there are no guarantees), chiili powder no good, lemon peel no good, they got used to the ultrasonic gun after the first use, next is the supersoaker water gun......

Our own cats, nor any of the other local tomcats (including ferals) have NEVER crapped in our garden....

My grandad told me once he kept cats out of his garden by putting about half a can of lager in an empty three litre bottle, put the lid on and placed on its side in the flower beds.

I've got no idea how it worked - but it did ;)

Should I show the owner how much I love them too and leave at turd in their freshly planted boarder? Perhaps I could leave some crap on their doormat too?

Male human urine is supposed to work, just spray it around the edge of the garden.
Best done at night (make sure security light switched off as it can be embarrassing) though it does need to be topped up when it rains
Works on the same theory as big cat poo. it does work.
