its 3.25 am monday morning and im getting 600kbit/s downloading
ftp://ftp.virginmedia.com/store2/gentoo/releases/x86/2007.0/livecd/livecd-i686-installer-2007.0.iso
on 10Mbit baguley UBR, both windows and slax liveCD are showing the same speeds.
months ago i got other old ISO's off there at the full speed, is it the server having problems, and can you get full speed currently?.
i also notice that it doesnt seem set to allow more than one connection from a given IP, can we have that changed in the VM ftp server config.
also how and who do we need to ask to get new additions 'gentoo stage4's' and 'slax' etc, and have the server kept somewhat upto date as there seems to be currently a lot of missing and old data , is anyone inside VM actually trying to keep it current ?....
