OK, suppose there's a website which is being cached by the NTL proxie and it's out of date. Not just by a few mins, but by days.

Who would I need to speak to to ensure the correct website is being fed? (quickest way, not just phoen customer services).

quickest way? don`t use an ntl proxy :)

if that`s not an option, them...erm....specify another proxy that you know is cached upto-date.

simple IP detection (http://ben.cheetham.me.uk/resources/net/what-is-my-ip) also tells you about your proxy status.
known ntl proxies (http://ben.cheetham.me.uk/resources/net/ntl-proxy-list)

Weeks ago it was annouced they are killing the proxy's region by region, so simply dont use any, you do not need any box ticked in the XP connections setting in IE options, not even "Automatically Detect Settings" as this is a proxy in itself, all 3 boxes EMPTY is ideal.
