hi all..

the main xxxx@ntlworld e-mail account i have has started returning the following error in outlook express..

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com (3)', Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR account is currently inactive.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

as it is my main e-mail address i am unable to change or edit it..

any help you can give me would be much appreciated..

According to the error it's inactive, do you still take service from VM?

Try logging on via webmail. That should work

EDIT: I really should read all of the error message :) Try webmail anyway. When Ive had problems webmail works all the time

By the look of it it has become inacative on the ntlworld server.
A call to tech support is needed to refresh the account on the mail server.
When you call mention the fact that the error reads inactive.

yes.. although this is my main account i seldom use it..

edit... i'm unable to access by web page so i will contact vm.. many thanks..
