Hello

I lost my connection this afternoon about 3pmish. I've tried unplugging the power to the modem but only get Power / Sync / Ethernet lights on.

The modem is an NTL blue style modem. Im in leeds / LS6.

Logging into the modem reveals

Network Access : Denied
Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 32000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 32000

Which apparently means i might of been disconnected. Is this the case? Or could it be at Virgin's end?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

George

You modem is not active on the account. Have you had a house move recently? Late paying? If there was a physical fault, you wouldn't get Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 32000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 32000
They would be 0.
