Evening,

Anybody got one of those in-line water filter things?

Are they any good? VFM? Actually work?

Cheers

Lee

Do you mean the inductive coil or an actual filter?

Not sure - I assume the first one is one of those magnet things?

I don't know much about them - I'm looking for something to put in / on the water inlet of the house to stop scale etc...

Were getting an in-line filter with seperate tap for drinking water, kettle ect, lasts for 6k-9k ltrs. The water here in Mansfield taste's like crap, B&Q do a kit for about £80'ish.

My partners parents live in Spain most of the year and all their water is filtered straight off the street mains supply, cost 300 euro to fully supply & fit with a 2-3yr filter life and replacement filters at around 60euro.

De-scalers are ok but dont get rid of the tatse IMO.
