great news for pes6 fans playing on PS3

The new 1.70 firmware update on PS3 makes the game work. Likely many other compatability issued games will now work without faults.

Out Now just switch on the PS3 hook it up to the net and it will tell you theres a new firmware update. follow instructions

Theres also something to do with playstation store going to have PS1 games available to download like the PSP.

Rumble works with the old Ps2 controllers with an usb adapter.I assume this is the Pc ones. I have the tittanium s-joy converter.

im having trouble with my ethernet connection at the moment, so cant connect properly, is there a website link u can download it from, but has to be the european version firware update not north american, otherwise will wreck your ps3.....cheers Dom :tu:

united kingdom update, been to website and still showing 1.60 firware update, maybe us lot get it later than the rest of the world as usual!! :confused:

also GTA San Andreas works.

However there is some issues which are weird.

In the country as there less action cars go much faster. There is the odd ocasion cars will diaspear or appear right under your nose. Its likely down to the game has no speed limiter. With a faster chip less polygon its doing it faster than rockstar designed the game for. This will be the same with the cars appearing/disapearing as you are further up the road than if you were playing the PS2. So instead of it happening in the distance like it did your on top of it.

It is playable though but I think most Ps2 games will be harder as the speeds go up. Turning corners are a nightmare god help you an something fast.

I do have a question do AI intelligence improve with ps2 games on ps3.
