Hi Everybody.
Been reading this forums since I ordered VM.
Unfortunately things having went to plan.

My Story is:

Ordered Vm online. 3 for 30 plus v+
Got a letter in 3 days saying my installation date was 14th April between 12-6.
That was only just over a 2 week wait so I was happy enough.

Now I am an old NTL customer so am a wee bit weary of them, so 2 days before installation I give them a call to check everything was ok. The lovely young lady on the phone confirmed everything was fine.
To my surprise I get a call from VM the day before my install to check everything for the following day. Woah, said I. Maybe VM has changed for the better.
Had taken the day off for my install. Got everything ready for them.
12 o'clock no one. 1 o'clock no one. 2 o'clock no one. 3 o'clock no one. 4 o'clock no one. 5 o'clock no one and you guessed it 6 o'clock on one.
Oh Dear says I! Even a phone call would of been nice.
Tryed phonong Vm on saturday evening but kept being told they were to busy call back later. This stayed the same for all of saturday and Sunday.
Also tried this morning but saying 20mins or more!
Because I dont have a phone Im using my prepay mobile and its costing me a fortune!! Now I dont have enough credit to even try and call them now.

So, was wondering. Help much appreciated.
What is the normal procedure for install team when they have missed an install? Do they re book it or is just thrown to the wayside?
Any other way of conatcting Vm?
Would it be worth my while to email them?

MAny thanks for any help or suggestions.

:welcome: to the forum :)

Sorry to hear you're still having problems. Normally with a missed install you contact customer services and resolve it there. However, as you're unable to get through in 3 days, you can't.

We do have a contact within VM who we can go to and get the problem resolved.

If you PM me your details and any reference numbers you have, I can pass them on and hopefully get you sorted.

Hello. Hello.

Just to give an update.

Thankfully got my install done today.

But of course it all cant be perfect :o)

No V+ !!! The only reason I really went back to ntl.
Also not the proper tv package.

But at least they have been..

Glad the phone is working so I can handle the hour wait times.
Havent tried phoning yet ( dont want to put myself in a bad mood)

Ill keep ya posted how it goes. I am guessing another 2 weeks for install of V+... lol
