Hi I'm new to the boards, I have recently signed up to Virgin Media broadband, The sighning up part was easy and my package arrived very quickley, however upon inspecting the contents of the box I found that the Setup CD for my package was not there, (the package is an ethernet based one), immediatley I called Virgin Media who said they would send one out, after a week it didnt arrive, so I again called and they said they would send a 2nd one out, now this has not arrived either. Is there any other way to setup my cable modem without having to keep calling and requesting this setup cd???

:welcome: to Cable Fourm :tu:

Normally you only really need the CD if you need to use a USB driver.

Try following the instructions here: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/94/33602415-how-set-up-your-ntl-broadband.html

Hi there and :welcome: to the forums.

You do not need the set up CD.
Just plug everything in and switch on the modem first. Once the sync and rdy lights are settled, then switch on your computer.
Open your Internet browser and try an internet address. It should re-direct you to the registration page.

If that doesnt work, type https://autoreg.autoregister.net/ into your internet browesr to go to the registration page.

It should now all work.
