still on 4meg

Just a quick one i am supposed to be on 10 meg but still on 4 i have a surfboard 4100 my question is will this do 10 or even 20 meg or do i need to change to new modem i have rebooted the modem and wireless router thanks.

Why does this need to be swapped out ? According to the specs, the modem is easily capable of doing 10Mb/s

According to the spec sheet (link in my previous post), the 4100 will do up to 38Mb.......

Oops i just looked and mine isnt the 4100 its the 5100 lol

Can you check the modem config? Not sure if you can do that on the modem you've got... hopefully someone else will know if you can or not...
