Yep, but as this is a Virgin Media forum I didn't think it was worth mentioning that you can use them if you're on BT too.

Well, plenty of people here do use BT. They may just have VM broadband or no VM services at all...

Completely free for fixed line calls if you're on BT then.

Just a 5p connection fee.

There appears to be a rumour that Virgin are about to block the numbers of these cheap call providers (see link below) :-

I can see VM p*ssing a lot of people off with this move!
I know sooooo many people using such no's to call cheap internationally! [including myself!]
I think VM want their customers to go to SKY/BT lol

They want to be the most expensive company for phone calls. the cheap ones are losing them too much money.

Or they are trying to get people to buy bundles of minutes as per mobiles..........I wouldn't mind if they included something like the 300min for £10 on Virgin Mobile deal in the standard land line rental of £11.

I do not know how VM can do this and make money, if they are also doing very cheap deals on tv, they must be doing something, we the customer don't know about - l have just returned to VM, due to very poor CS, and AN INCREASE in subs, on Sky. l should never have left VM in the first place, or is leaving Sky, the worst decision l have ever made.
