V+ Installation question

Hey all.

Im getting installed tomorrow but i wanted to know

will the engineer be connecting using HDMI?

should i be expecting HDMI or will they use component?

i.e if they use or try to use component should i be complaining ?


whats the situation in regard to this

If you have a HDMI socket in your TV the engineer will use a HDMI lead to connect the V+HD box. He will probably connect with composite first though.

i just heard of peoeple being connected with something else... so i was little worried


thats why ill be home to make sure its done right! :)

so i should expect full HDMI tomorrow then right?

Yep the engineer should have a HDMI lead in his van. :)

Cool, how you finding the V+ service?

When the engineer attended my house I was told that they would only use the HDMI cable if requested by the customer otherwise they would use the scart lead. This may of changed now?
