VoIP Connection Test & Broadband Speed Test

I went to http://myvoipspeed.visualware.com & did the above tests
I am on 4meg BB
results

download speed 10.1 Mbps
upload speed 307 kbps
Quality of service 34%

I use VOIP but recently the audio has been crap because of the QOS:mad:

VoIP isn't very forgiving of a contended service

the download speed was 1.01 not 10

That test is run from the USA, I have a near perfect 10Mb connection and it only showed me as having a 700k connection. 1.01Mb is however pleanty for voip as you only need around 100k for each call.

Latency, jitter and QOS are entirely different factors and are not always result in slow download speeds.
