Hi, i had v+ installed view days ago but the chap left no manual / instructions (told me Virgin where not ready for V+ and as such manuals are limited and to be sent out by cust services ? He also left no customer service information - as i was a Sky Digital customer) Also the on line help video is little more than a bragging advert for v+
can someone tell me :
1) Can you record on demand items
2) is there any visual indicator that a recording is due to commence - eg most video recorders show a little clock
3) Is it me or does BBC HD / HD on demand from BBC look naff and also afew of the blue planets HD are not widescreen (i connect via DVI HDCP set to 1080i widescreen). (something the Engineer had no idea how to set up , he didnt even no how to connect the HDMI cable and change settings !).
4). Can you record whilst watching a on demand title - i know you cannot press record as you have to stop the title playing but can the box record via a pre set recording e.g i set box to records something at 8pm but then at 7.45pm start a on demand title - will the 8pm title record ?

ps can someone let me have the cust service nr from a non Virgin phone please.....another engineer / cust serv cock up, they give me temp virgin nr whilst my BT nr is ported across, but then forget to tell me the temp nr had already been allocated to someone else. (a mobile call to the engineer and he owned up !) so far no an easy ride onto the Virgin network !.
