Virgin ADSL + vista

Hey all,

I know from the virgin website that they say vista and the virgin installer disks aren't compatible, but has anyone managed it?

Basically my girlfriends parents want a new pc and broadband, and I'd quite like to stick them on virgin as my parents have used it for 3 years with no problems at all. But they won't be having a router/ethernet modem so can't get around it that way - can you use the included usb modem?

You dont actually need to install anything onto your PC. All it installs is some crap connection thingy and other tools but you dont need anything to use Virgin, even more so if your using Ethernet which is faster and easier (plug in, done).
