Hmm.

I've just had a look at the GAME website... still won't even let you place a backorder.

None at Argos or Gamestation either.

Bit crap.

I almost bought one just after Christmas, as my local GAME actually had a few in stock...they would only sell them as part of a bundle though.

just go into game, and ask to have your name put on a waiting list for one, I only waited about 4 days

Get one from Amazon Germany.

http://www.amazon.de/o/ASIN/B0009PRCNE/ref=s9_asin_title_1/302-1837932-3236008

I think shipping is not too bad and takes about a week. Worked out cheaper than UK last time I checked.

I got mine from Amazon.de as well.. really quick delivery all things considered and worked out at £175 (inc delivery).

You will also need to get an adapter for the plug, but that will only cost a couple of quid.

I don't know if it is the same all over the country but Woolworths took stock of some in Northampton the other day.

If you don't want to order online from Germany, it will be a case of calling into, or phoning, the usual suspects each morning until you get one. Woolies expect regular arrivals and GAME will get them in too. But I suggest also watching Amazon, Ebuyer, Argos and GAME websites each morning  .

Try gameplay.co.uk

I think the waiting time is only... say... 2 weeks max?!

The store in Hammersmith wouldn't even take my name to put on any list...

Sounds daft - but if you have a large Tesco near you try there. I walked in, went to the electronics counter and said "Suppose I'm asking a silly question - but do you have any Wii in stock?" and snagged the last one in my store a while back.

either phone them, or try another one, try a medium sized one, not a huge town one
or try another game shop, but most will take your name now.

I just got one last thursday for my birthday and it f'in rocks!

It came from Amazon.de (germany) and was under UK RRP including delivery.

I have since bought the component cable for my LCD screen, Wii Play with the second remote and Sonic and the Secret Rings

I need to get the component cable as the composite cable that comes with the console looks terrible on my LCD TV.
