1. How often do you go without losing a connection? Can you go weeks/months without any loss?

2. Also how often does your IP Address change every few hours/days/weeks/months?

Most Virgin Media broadband customers here would be former ntl/Telewest customers.


I don't know how many Virgin ADSL users we have here.

1. I'm not a customer myself, but I've certaintly seen connection times in triple figures. Just seen a 321 hour connection as it happens.

2. IP address is assigned on connection and will change every time you disconnect and reconnect (whether on purpose or if your connection drops), but only when you disconnect and reconnect.

When and If you get a connection drop is generally to do with your line and could be a bad wire/connection anywhere between you and the exchange (could be as simple as a bad wire in your Phone line getting blown in the wind)
