1. is usb physically only capable of 5mb connections? this is what i was told by VM

2. do they offer wireless routers?

1. Yes usb is maxed out at 5 meg

I have not heard of them supplying free wireless.

Some ex-telewest customers used to be able to get free wireless routers, but now they've stopped giving them away I think.

If you're looking to buy a wireless router, the Linksys WRT54G is one that's recommended a lot on this forum.

1: I used to use USB and mine maxed out about 6mb. Then I changed to Ethernet and it maxs at full 10mb.
