my 4mbps

Wed, 28 Feb 2007 17:55:32 UTC

1st 512K took 1282 ms = 399.4 KB/sec, approx 3291 Kbps, 3.21 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1234 ms = 414.9 KB/sec, approx 3419 Kbps, 3.34 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1297 ms = 394.8 KB/sec, approx 3253 Kbps, 3.18 Mbps
4th 512K took 2078 ms = 246.4 KB/sec, approx 2030 Kbps, 1.98 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 2998 Kbps, 2.93 Mbps

any ideas why my 4th hop always drops ? (if i repeated test 10 times in a row 4th hop would be a lot lower 7 out of 10 times)

according to vm everything is fine their end.

I used the speed test here on Cable Forum, i was having the same issue, this happened while i had Virgin Media PC Guard/ntl Netguard installed, the problem went away when i uninstalled this.

Use this one and then post the results, this should sort the problem.
