View Full Version : 4mbit being shaped during peak hours?
Over the last few nights, I've noticed that I've been limited to 2mbit during the hours of around 11pm-6am (when I get up for work). I'm not sure what's going on or for exactly how long but it's definitely being shaped/capped to 2mbit for a few hours at night.
I'm in the ST3 area and I'm not a heavy usage user. Anyone else with similar experiences?
Nope its not
Can you supply more detail as to what you are using and where you are downloading from?
Hardware wise, I have the NTL 250 modem along with a Linksys WRT54g running DD-WRT. I've checked to see that I haven't accidentally capped myself by accident in the router config and I've double checked that I haven't in windows (I use netlimiter).
I've tested using speedtesters, regular http downloads, newsgroup downloads, torrent downloads and FTP downloads and all are still capped at 2mbit.
All ok here in Notts on 4mbit
