View Full Version : Broadband Extras - minor annoyance

I'm away for a couple of days so no rush for an answer - if there is one. It isn't a major problem, just a tad annoying, so any help would be appreciated.

I use Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7 and when I access Broadband Extras, such as SonicSelector, it opens in a new window. No matter how many other windows, and tabs within windows I have open, when I close the SonicSelector window by either the Close (x) button, File-Exit, or File-Close Tab, all IE windows close.

Use Firefox.

IE is full of security holes, anyway.

Tools, Internet Options, General tab, Tabs "Settings", tailor it to your needs.

How did you get Firefox to work with SonicSelector? Whenever I use Firefox for it, its says I need to use Internet Explorer.....?

The only stuff I can find on sonicselector goes back to 2004 and suggests it's tied to Windows Media Player..

Yep I already use this plugin but it uses IE in Firefox anyway. :)
