Anyone have a problem with there not being a rumble pack for the new controller. Personally I think its pretty forward looking. Opinions? I think the controller looks really good for PS3 Link (http://www.ps3films.com/control.htm)

So, they've taken a Playstation Controller, removed the rumble pack, and added Wiimote-style motion sensing?

Yeh but it doesnt work as well. Also it has a guide button just like another familiar controller *cough*360*cough*

Personally i dont like the controllers cos the analogue sticks are in awkward posistion and playing games without rumble is stepping back a few generations. (Halo without rumble is just wierd and confusing)

Well, I have to admit, I've never been a fan of the Playstation controllers. Always found them uncomfortable.

I find them far to small, and yes i have a problem without the rumble in my games and to be honest i think it's a step backwards. Also as deathtrap says i think the sticks are in a bad place.

So removing a feature (rumble) due to losing a large lawsuit about patent licensing, & adding a feature from another console (tilt/motion) is "forward looking"? ;)

Heh.

Anyway. It's not bad. Pity they couldn't just stick with DualShock though.

Not a fan of the PS controller. It has not evolved much over the years and I don't like the feel of it.

I think you do need a rumble pack built in. It adds to the game a lot.
