The home page is down, are we going to see an announcement when it comes back up. ;)
Or are they just saving bandwidth? :p:

I can't access it with both my broadband lines. (Virgin Media & BT)

It's down here, too. Was OK at 5am but all I'm getting now is a blank page.
Can't even check the service status!

I've just tried this now (at work - non-VM) and I am getting a blank page. The title says 'Most Haunted Live - TV & Radio - Virgin Media' but inside the page there are blank DIVs.

Customers will currently be unable to view the www.virginmedia.com homepage as a result of a technical fault.
Our engineers are aware and are working to restore service as soon as possible.
Virgin Media would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
That is what is said on the service page.:)

TW users have 384kbps upload!

But there is no official statement saying that XL customers will get a 1mb upload upgrade anywhere so it could still be a typo that they have missed.
