Exploring the new virgin media website this morning, I came across this;
http://allyours.virginmedia.com/websales/service.do?id=2
where it tells us that the upload speed of the 10Mb service will be 384 kbps. I'm currently paying for and getting 512kbps upload on my 10Mb service - is this going to be cut under the new regime? Maybe it's just a typo.

probably a typo like it was before, but i will wait and see how many complain in here about a typo ;)

this same thread was created on ntlhell and digitalspy and answered.

This is a typo, ntl have already started increasing 4Mb customers upload speeds to 500K.
The upload speed is 512K for ntl customers on the 10Mb service, not sure if Telewest 10Mb customers are still on the 384K upload speed

Thanks Zee - I'm new to NTL/VM (only been with them 3 weeks) so I didn't know about the earlier typo. Good to know!

Noticed that the is morning and wondered what the f*uck.

...Though I wonder if the 'up to' is indeed a mis-type, too. Due to the emphasis of the technicalities of cable they seem to be marketing with. i.e ''No matter how far you live away form the exchange.'' Or to that effect.

I'm sure it's just a typo again.
