Anyone with any knowledge of this one...?

I had a look at the logs on my router and there are accepted inbound connections from 193.38.113.34.
I have a webcam on that particular port (www, port 80).

I resolved that IP address to be "scanner.abuse.blueyonder.co.uk"

I'm a little concerned about this, any ideas what this is that's checking me out or why it might be doing so or could it be a random/general check?

I'm pretty sure its just a general scan, probably for open SMTP ports etc etc

Nothing to be concerned about.

Have not heard of that "scanner.abuse.blueyonder.co.uk" in a long time and I agree with Pooper it is nothing to be concerned about .

I encounted this when my SMTP server was on accident set as OPEN RELAY!, THANKFULLLY allemails had to be manually sent by ME before it sent so I deleted it and took proper meausres in closing the relay.
