what wires go where

hi folks, can any one help me concerning old bt cable i want to connect up to a masterbox, yes of course i can find diagrams for wires with " bands " around them , but my 7 core cable contains 3-yellows ,1-green ,1-black ,1-white ,1-pink !! or is this red only faded over the years , all of these wires are solid colours with no bands at all

Are the 3 yellows made of a different wire.
I think it is the White and Pink/Red you need to use.

To be fair isn't that BT's cable thus not to be fiddled with by average Joes?
