I've been having really slow connection speeds for about 3/4 weeks now. After several calls an engineer came round. Before he came that morning i did a speedtest and it seemed fixed - he arrived and told me there was another customer round the corner having the same problems. Got 10mbit and decent pings for the rest of the day.
Then it went really slow again. Next call to NTL and they told me there was in fact a localised problem and they were working to fix it. This morning I call back to enquire whether my "local problem" issue had be rectified - was told everything was working fine.
Err no it hasn't. I'm getting ok ping times and upload speeds, but download speeds rarely exceed 3000 kb/s.
