Hi

Any one in the Blackpool area getting speed problems.

I have a 2mb business acount and have been getting speeds as low as 0.14Mbps.Contacted telewest on several occasions but to no avail.

Any ideas.

Please PM me a previous ticket referance / business name and post code and I will take a look tomorrow when I am in work.

Ticket referance should start with a 4 (i.e. 489737), many thanks.

Alternatively call 0800 953 2800 option 2 for Business Data Faults and log a fault, PM me the ref and I will take a look.

I have taken a look at your connection and can see that you are utilising all of your 512k upload bandwidth. When this happens your download speed will be affected.

Please take a look at your LAN setup and secure any unprotected PC's. Also check details of any websites hosted on your site or remote access systems.

There is no packet loss indicating that there is no cabling issue :

Thanks for your help.Unfortunately I'll be looking for another another supplier for broadband.Constant speed issues up one minute down the other minute,My staff are are constantly rebooting the modem now to get any type of connection.Very annoying to say the least.

hi there everybody has anyone experienced loss of download speed in blackpool area today when i was using grabit binaries my download speed was 1200kbps for the last 2 weeks since last night it dropped to 298kbps to 411kbps is anyone having the same problem with virgin media. i have a 10meg download but only receive these speeds can not get through to VM at all.
