Each time I try to post a message in a newsgroup, I get this error or something similar:

Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Re: Radio Scanning in the UK', Account: 'news.cable.ntlworld.com', Server: 'news.cable.ntlworld.com', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '441 Posting Failed ("From" Header not in Internet Syntax.)', Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9

Now I had this before I re-installed my computer and I got it working, but I can't remember what I did. Any one any ideas?

Shouldn't the servers be news.ntlworld.com ?

Why do you use outlook express and not a dedicated newsreader like Grabit (http://www.shemes.com/index.php?p=screenshots#) which is free.

All you do is put the server info in, as well as your ntl username and password that you got when you joined NTL and it should work. :)

It's weird, as I managed to make one post in a newsgroup but got a blank error, but now similar errors to above.

I've put my username and stuff in......

I like using Outlook, as a.) No more rubbish to run or install b.) Runs fine as it is (Normally.....lol)

is the 'from' in your message an email address?? (Just wondering if its expecting jobloggs@ntl.com format?)
