TV Ants and NTL TV freeze

I installed TV Ants yesterday to watch online TV, however, when streaming the NTL TV comes to a total stop and freezes so does the Internet (pages will not load). When I stop downloading with TV Ants NTL TV works again.

Any help appreciated.

You'll probably find, as TVants is a peer to peer app, that you upload is getting saturated as your share out to other users... I use Netlimiter to counteract this type of problem from using P2PTV apps.
