I know this screen shot is from a peer-to-peer program, but its constant between 2500KB/s to around 3100KB/s transfer speeds in total ...

When i upload it is going up to 100-120KB/s

I forgot the link on how to check my config files...

There's already a thread about the 20 meg trials here (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=33602368&highlight=20mb+trial)... ;)

Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 204800000 ? That's a bit more than 20mbit isn't it? Unless it wasn't cut and pasted, but was a typo.

This is a copy and paste with just a little formatting.

Yes i did edit it in Microsoft Word because when i pasted it onto cableforum all the headings like network access and maximum downstream data rate were on one line i must have added an extra 0 by mistake.

My friend who lives in the street after mine is also getting a 1Mbps upload rate

I'm in NW London - just got the 20meg today :)

I'm in Edgware (In NW London) -

For months have been getting a **** service as many of you know, but the service is great now, and before anyone says anything, i only use about 30GB per month so im not a bandwidth hog. :P

I think it is only now fair that im getting a great service :)

I've only got these kind of speeds today, before this was on the usual 10Mbps/512K like the rest of you

OMG I would adore a 1mb upload.

I am serious if ntl said

You pay us £40, and we give you 10mb and 1mb up I would snap their hand off.

Hardly any servers would permit download speeds of over 11mb rarely I find a download server which does more than 4mb speeds, but I really could use the extra upload speed.

FusionXN1
05-11-2006, 11:29
I would like 10/10 not 20/1 i would be happy with 10/10 - 20mb lets see hmm microsoft servers yes and erm thats it?

LOL aye I wish we had some of their deals, you can contact your ISP in Holland and even come to a deal for speed/price.

Come on NTL open up more options!!!
