If only they were the prices per call and not per minute!

Then they'd begin to be competative. :)

So 3-2-1 is now dead?

I have been unable to find any details about this plan on their site.....

I'm glad I make all my calls via Onetel then.... but even they have recently upped their rates (since carphone warehouse bought them out).... especially international rates... :(

321 has not been on offer to new customers for a while - I think they are now trying to push old customers onto the Talk Weekends plan.

Yep, 3-2-1 is as dead as Elvis. :(

I suggest you take a look at www.vonage.co.uk if you want a reliable cheap service with great international rates. :)

Details of the Ntl plans and a comparison with other providers is available here:

Daytime 3p/min
Evening 5p/call*
Weekend 5p/call*

Yes.

* 5p per call up to 60 minutes. After 60 minutes extra minutes are charged at 3p per minute.

the 5p talk plan is no longer for sale though, if you currently have it it will stay on there, but it isnt active to add to an account, same with the 321 or 3p

I have done the same a few weeks ago, does this mean that we have to stay with NTL for another 12 months or is this just a change to the telephone rates

just a package change doesnt effect the minimum period and normal t&c's

You're on the biggest rip-off tariff around mate. Your bills are gonna be much bigger than they should be.

Take a look at the link I gave above for a comparison. :)

I've got to admit.. you could be getting free calls at the weekend for the same price as you are currently paying. Just change your call plan to the call weekends! Does me just right!

However if you make calls in the week (more than a couple a week) then you're paying more than you should be.

The "basic" Ntl talk packages are really uncompetitive now I'm afraid no matter how you look at it.

The lure of "free" calls at weekends should cloud no-ones view of the facts. Just take a look a the figures for yourself. :)

No im not, my calls when i was on 321 were less than £5 per month and most of my calls are at the weekend. Why would i pay a fixed fee thats more than my bill?

i did look at the link but didnt understand it as it seems to ignore the fact that if i have NTL tv i still have to pay the NTL line rental

That's because you can now have dtv and cancel the phone line ;-) So your savings would be about £7 a month by the sounds of it.

Can't see the post at the moment but just checked with Ntl sales and they said that you can take DTV with EITHER BB or Phone. So you can dump the phone if you wish. :)

I signed up for it today.

They had to check it was available, and they don't seem to advertise it, but it came up as an option on www.uswitch.com (http://www.uswitch.com) so I thought I'd ask...

When I phoned to cancel the whole deal, then they started making offers.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Same happened to me, they gave me talk weekend and a reduction in my bill of £11 per month on top of existing discounts
