When i have my NTL broadband installed just over a week now i installed the cd that the installer gave me to set up my account and the i uninstalled it but now there is Broad jump client foundation in ad/remove programs what does this do can i remove it or will the BB stop working,

You can remove it, it will have 0 affect on your connection. Are you using USB or Ethernet?
