Hi,
Sorry if this question has been posted before but i couldn't find any info on it. I'm currently using the ntl home: 200 modem for my 4MB ntl connection, but recently i have found it's going slow compared to usual. I know this maybe because of service related problems, but its never been this bad before. I also have a ntl: 250 modem, but the problem is it never works on my computer/connection. The lights on the modem are on as normal, my pc says theres a connection and its sending & receiving 'bytes'. But when i go onto the internet, nothing connects, just a blank screen!

So is there anyway i can possibly get the modem to work or, basically, is it just the fact that my pc is not compatible with it?

Thanks for any help, gaz

The other modem wont work because it is not registered to your account. It will never work unless it is registered, and it never will be even if you ask NTL to do it. The best you can do is report it to faults and see if they will give you a new modem.
