I just set broadband up on my uncles pc and they are supposed to be on the 3 for £40 offer, but the modem is showing

Network Access : Allowed
Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 4096000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 400000
Maximum Upstream Channel Burst : 1600
Maximum Number of CPEs : 1
Modem Capability : Concatenation Enabled, Fragametation Enabled, PHS Disabled

I thought it was supposed to be 2mbit, not 4mbit :Yikes:

Does this mean a call to ntl otherwise will probably end up costing them more than they are expecting...?

A call to Customer Service on 150 to check this out would be best I think.
