Well on my street i live right next to NTLS cabinet for my road, it is half open and htere is no pointtaping it up as it helps nothing, so today it was pouring down with rain, cant this damage there equipment if it gets in as its kinda half open??

Have you reported this to faults?

What will generally happen with the cabs is that if a door is loose a fault tech will attempt to repair it as best he can. If there is internal damage to the cabinet then this is normally escilated to a network tech to sort out, and if completely demolished (ie fire/car accident) then a complete rebuild is carried out by civils/contrsuction.

Don't I just know it - an electric storm and a rainstorm overnight last night resulted in NTL in Swansea having their IT and telephony systems taken completely out of action until approx 3pm later that day!
