2mb speeds at edinburgh eh4?

:) just wondering if anyone can give some advice on the current speeds people are seeing with telewest in the edinburgh eh4 area as i am thinking of taking out the 2mb broadband service?

also if i do join the 2mb service and i later decide to upgrade my speeds to 4mb do you have to start a new 12 month contract also fro the date of the speed up grade?

I've just joined to telewest, so Im not sure but you've to start a new contract from the date of the speed uprage, it's like in AOL, I was upraging 512 up to 2MB.
