Broadband Droppout

Hi

Ovewr the last few weeks i have noticed the occasional 30 seconds drop outs from my broadband and then it fires back into life.

This is now happening with more regularity and longer periods.

Is this a common thing and any tips before i enter the quagmire of the NTL telphone system.

How are you connected? SACM or STB and have you checked your signal levels before, during and after the drop out?

sounds like a similar problem ive been having over the last few weeks.

same problem i had. i thought it was fixed after they upgraded my 1mb to 2mb but it happened last night again and i only fixed it by disabling the network adaptor then enabling it again in device manager

Hi could you tell us what type of modem you have abd what the upstream and the down:tu: stream levels are :tu: :)
