Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Since around the 10th or 11th of Sept, our NTL 250 MODEM shuts off every night anytime between 11:40 pm and 1:20 am. I have to then unplug it and the router, wait 30 sec and plug it back in and then it works fine. Normally I am up till around 12:30 so I am awake to see this. Have asked NTL about this problem, but they say they can't tell me anything while it's working, and to phone back when it happens. But I sure wasn't prepared to talk to them on their 10p per min support line. Thought it might have been the power supply as it happened with our last modem, it used to turn off at 11:55 am everyday....until NTL replaced the power supply. We've had them out to replace the power supply about a week ago but it's still happening. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be.
